Welcome to my personal website!
My name is Fedor, and IT is not just a profession for me, but a true passion. With years of experience as a telecommunications and communications specialist, I am constantly expanding my horizons and am now actively developing in the fields of DevOps, cloud technologies, and systems engineering. This year I completed the "DevOps Engineer-Developer" training course at the Specter training center in Israel (specter.co.il/courses/) and I want to start a career in IT, so I am open to offers! Primarily, I am interested in DevOps and Cloud Engineer positions, but I would also gladly consider offers for Linux System Engineer and Network Engineer. I am interested in both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
My skills, experience, and interests:
- Working with Linux: I love working with Linux kernel-based distributions, from using Fedora and Ubuntu on my desktop to designing and configuring my own server infrastructure. In my home lab, I deploy self-hosted services, KVM-based virtualization platforms, Docker hosts, Kubernetes (Kubeadm via Kubespray), experiment with networks, and test new solutions.
- DevOps and Cloud Native technologies: Automation and building scalable systems. I work with cloud providers such as Oracle Cloud, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, and Kamatera. I practice the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach using Terraform.
- Orchestration and CI/CD: I deploy microservices in managed Kubernetes clusters, write Ansible playbooks, and configure automated code delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD (GitOps).
- Monitoring and Fault Tolerance: It is important to me that systems run stably, so I implement a monitoring stack based on Prometheus and Grafana in my projects.
- Networks, Web Servers, and Security: I confidently design network infrastructure both in the cloud (VCN, Subnets) and at the application level. I configure Ingress controllers (Traefik), reverse proxies, and web servers (Nginx). I pay special attention to security: automating the processes of obtaining and renewing SSL/TLS certificates using Cert-Manager and Let's Encrypt.
- Backend Architecture: For me, an application is not just a "black box" to be run in a container. I have a solid understanding of microservice architecture, API logic, and component interaction principles. I have practical experience deploying Python stacks (Flask, FastAPI), managing relational databases (PostgreSQL), and integrating with object storage (S3 Buckets).
- Web Development and Full-Stack Approach: I am actively interested in and trying my hand at creating user interfaces to understand the entire product lifecycle from server to browser. I like seeing how hidden infrastructure logic takes on a convenient visual form. I work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, build responsive pages, configure UI components, and use templating engines. Developing this multilingual portfolio with dark theme support is one of my practical steps in mastering the modern web.
- Telecommunications and VoIP: I have years of experience as a communications specialist behind me. I deeply understand the architecture of both classic TDM networks and modern IP networks. I have worked with analog, digital, and SIP telephony (including Asterisk). This background gives me a fundamental understanding of network protocols, routing, and low-level data transmission principles.
This site was created as my digital portfolio and knowledge base. Here I share the architecture of my projects, technical solutions, and simply what inspires me in the world of modern technology.
